- How to activate "Group" sending mode
- The "Group" sending mode allows you to send all your messages at once. you might want that:
- Your message is sent as an SMS individually to each recipient and responses are only sent back to you, in that case, you need following settings for your iPhone Messages settings:
-
- Turn OFF iMessage and Group Messaging
- Delete All previous group messages and group conversations in your iPhone's Standard Messages App history related to all the recipients of the used Group.
- In order to be able to send Attachments (Pictures etc...) You also need to:
- Turn ON MMS
- Be connected to a carrier via 4G/LTE. WIFI is not ok.
- Your message is sent as a group conversation to all recipients and everyone in the group sees everyone's response? in that case, you need following settings for your iPhone Messages settings:
-
- Turn OFF iMessage and Turn ON Group Messaging and MMS
- Delete All previous group messages and group conversations in your iPhone's Standard Messages App history related to all the recipients of the used Group
- In order to be able to send Attachments (Pictures etc...) You also need to:

3. However the "Group" sending mode might not work for many reasons
- Some carriers might apply some limits in term of the number of contacts you can reach at once. There might be a maximum number set per hour, Day, Week etc....
- Carriers want to limit spammers. So if you send the same message to many recipients at once in a short period of time, this could be caught as a spam and in some cases your phone’s texting feature might be disabled for some time by your carrier.
- You want to always keep iMessage turned ON as you do not want to miss any messages sent from your friends through Apple devices (via iMessage). In case you absolutely need to keep iMessage turned ON, you can use the Automatic sending mode option.
- You want to keep iMessage turned ON as you want to use it when possible for your mass texts to Apple devices (via iMessage).
- You want to send personalized mass text messages by addressing each recipient with information such as Last name, First Name and/or company
In that case, you can use the "Automatic" and/or "Manual" sending mode?
